Fast-Paced RTS “Jelly Troops” Oozes onto Switch in 2025, PC Playtest March 6
Introduction
Jelly Troops, the lightning-fast pick-up-and-play RTS for everyone, developed by Nukenin Co., Ltd. and published by Phoenixx Inc.—and winner of Bandai Namco Studios’ 2nd GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest—brings skirmishing slimes to the Nintendo Switch eShop in 2025. Experience the latest balance updates during this weekend’s playtest on PC via Steam starting Thursday, March 6th, at 5 PM PST.
Streamlined RTS Gameplay
No resource management. No hyper-complex species or unit matchups. No overly intricate maps. Instead, Jelly Troops delivers pure, strategic battles where players must outnumber, outwit, and outscore opponents in high-speed, rock-paper-scissors-style skirmishes.
Command slimes with three essential mechanics:
- Grow a gelatinous army of slimes.
- Redirect enemy forces with strategic wall placement.
- Capture flags to rack up points.
Every match is a test of quick thinking and fast reflexes. Sneak through fog-of-war, lure opponents into drawn-out paths, or go all-in with brute force. Win three matches to claim victory!
