Introduction

SQUARE ENIX has officially announced the second Closed Beta Test (CBT 2) for its multiplayer murder mystery action game, KILLER INN. Players can sign up now to participate via Steam, with the beta running from Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. EDT until Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 at 2:59 p.m. PDT / 5:59 p.m. EDT.

Participants from the first Closed Beta Test held in July will automatically gain access to CBT 2. Newly registered players will receive participation notifications on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

New Updates Based on Player Feedback

Following the initial beta, several enhancements have been implemented, including balance adjustments, improved game design, and the addition of new features. Players will again be encouraged to share their thoughts during CBT 2 to continue shaping the final release.

Additional updates and news will be posted on the Steam News Hub and official social media channels.

Attendees of Tokyo Game Show will be able to preview the CBT 2 version at the SQUARE ENIX booth. Participants will receive a special invitation code granting access to the public test.
