Free-to-Play Battle Royale Update Brings Cross-Platform Play and New Playable Character
Push the limits and go beyond Plus Ultra! Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has officially launched Season 10 of MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, the free-to-play multiplayer Battle Royale game based on the hit anime series My Hero Academia. The latest free update is now available and introduces cross-play functionality, allowing players to team up or compete across platforms. Additionally, the update debuts a powerful new playable character: Hitoshi Shinso.

New Hero: Hitoshi Shinso Joins the Fight
Known as the “Hypnosis Hero”, Hitoshi Shinso brings his powerful “Brainwashing” Quirk into battle, allowing players to control enemies like puppets. His skillset includes:
- Persona Chords – Temporarily immobilizes enemies with a powerful vocal attack.
- Persona Command – Forces enemies to move toward a marker set by the player.
Players can also unlock exciting rewards including Shinso’s “U.A Track Suit,” “Cyber Hero” costume, and the “Silent Warlord” outfit for his mentor, Shota Aizawa.
About My Hero Ultra Rumble
In MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, players form three-member teams and compete in large-scale battles against seven other squads on expansive citywide maps. Choose from iconic My Hero Academia characters like Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, and Himiko Toga. Use powerful Quirks to engage in offensive and support strategies with your team to survive intense encounters.
With the introduction of cross-play compatibility, fans across all supported platforms can now join forces or battle each other in seamless multiplayer action.
