Introduction
After several years in active development, JDM: Japanese Drift Master will finally unlock the doors to the winding mountain roads, scenic rural streets, and city highways. This highly anticipated simcade racing game, focused on drifting through modern Japanese streets, will be released on Steam, GOG, and Epic Store on May 21st, 2025.
Details & Information
JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes players to an open-world, fictional Japanese prefecture, Guntama. With over 250 km of main roads, it features famous tourist landmarks and legendary car enthusiast spots, combined to create one cohesive and stunning world. From a recreation of the Himeji Castle to Guntama’s own Daikoku parking area, whether you’re a racing fan or just want to drive through Japan’s roads, there’s always something exciting to do!
An Engaging Story
Players will follow the story of Touma, a Polish driver striving to make a name for himself in the local street racing scene. With help from his Japanese friends, he dives deep into the competition but soon realizes that fierce rivals stand in his way. Will he manage to reach the top? Drama, action, and even romance await players in this immersive racing experience.
The game’s story is told through in-game events and a manga (Japanese comic book), meticulously drawn by the internal art team. Each event unlocks pages of the comic, building up the narrative for what’s next.

Licensed Cars & Customization
A racing game wouldn’t be complete without a stunning lineup of cars! Players will have access to fully licensed Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru vehicles, with more announcements to come.
Each car can be upgraded both mechanically and visually. From installing a new ECU to adding an over-the-top bōsōzoku exhaust, customization is vast and rewarding. Fine-tuning options allow players to optimize each vehicle for grip, drift, or a balanced setup.
Simcade Experience
JDM: Japanese Drift Master blends realistic simulation with arcade elements for an engaging driving experience. Each car behaves uniquely on the road, and players will feel the weight of their vehicles when cornering or braking at high speeds.
