The high-speed motorcycle racing simulator accelerates onto Steam before console release

LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo creator FunkyMouse, accelerates toward launch on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, on PC via Steam. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned to follow at a later date.

Throw caution to the wind and blaze between traffic in a white-knuckle race across the asphalt. Anticipate every turn across multiple looping locales as players bullet past traffic through downtown highways, twisting mountain turnpikes, and scenic ocean-front roads from around the world.

An all-gas, no-brakes approach can lead to victory, but the margin between first place and a fatal crash is measured in inches. Reach a flow state as the world blurs at breakneck speeds, flirting with disaster while weaving between 18-wheelers, lane-switching sedans, and traffic that stubbornly follows the rules of the road.

Prepare for every condition by choosing from 15 distinct sportbikes, each featuring physics-accurate handling. Dominate dry pavement with blistering top speeds and razor-sharp steering, or prioritize traction and braking to survive slick, rain-soaked roads. Test reflexes in Rush Hour Mode, navigating dense traffic mazes, or unwind with uninterrupted cruising in Zen Mode.

Express style and maximize aura with customizable clothing and helmet options. Feel the intensity of land-speed record attempts as a pulsing drum-and-bass soundtrack swells with the speedometer, only to crash into silence with every wipeout.

LANESPLIT was built around the concept of making sure that players can feel a true sense of speed,” said Shakya, founder and solo developer at FunkyMouse. “Going fast is so rarely communicated well in games. Physics, motion blur, tight controls, sound design, and music all come together for a multi-sensory experience where players become one with the road.

LANESPLIT shatters speed limits when it launches on PC via Steam on January 28, 2026, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions currently in development.
