Pathea Games, the studio behind the beloved life-sim series My Time, is delighted to unveil The God Slayer — a new third-person, open-world steampunk fantasy roleplaying game in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms.

Enter an Eastern-inspired steampunk metropolis where gods known as Celestials reign with a divine fist. In this premium open-world RPG, you are an Elemancer who refuses to bow to his creators. Infused with elemental powers and driven by vengeance, your mission is clear: dethrone the gods themselves. Rise and become The God Slayer.

Long ago, the Celestials created humans and all living things, designing them to cultivate a powerful force known as Qi to sustain the gods’ eternal lives. But in this new age, humanity has learned to weaponize qi energy, bending fire, water, earth, metal, and wood through elegant martial-artistry.

Outraged that mortals dare wield their divine energy, the Celestials annihilate the land’s strongest kingdom in a single night — slaughtering its Elemancers and king in an event now known as the God Fall.

In this 40-hour story-driven campaign, players assume the role of Cheng, a surviving Elemancer seeking to ignite a rebellion. Fueled by grief and vengeance, Cheng sets out to reshape the world and destroy the Celestials who wronged him.

The God Slayer carries that legacy forward with a darker tone and thrilling elemental combat at its core.”

The God Slayer features freeform RPG systems, customizable elemental combat, a massive steampunk capital city named Zhou, dynamic factions, and mission designs that adapt to your approach.
