New trailer reveals 80s-soaked chaos, infernal boss fights, and a theme by legendary composer Vince DiCola
Developer Friends of Safety and publisher DANGEN Entertainment have officially announced that Kingdom of Night, the long-awaited 80s-inspired isometric action-RPG, will launch on December 2, 2025 for PC via Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and itch.io.
To celebrate, a brand-new Release Date Trailer has debuted, showcasing an electrifying surge of never-before-seen gameplay—from demonic boss battles and neon-drenched streets to eerie cult rituals transforming the sleepy desert town of Miami, Arizona.
The trailer also features an original theme song composed by Vince DiCola, the legendary 1980s composer known for his iconic work on Transformers: The Movie and Rocky IV.
A Satanic Cult, A Kidnapped Friend, A Night Like No Other
Set in an alternate 1987, Kingdom of Night follows John, a teenager living in the quiet desert town of Miami, Arizona. One night, he wakes up to find his neighbor kidnapped by a satanic cult, which has accidentally unleashed the ancient evil Baphomet.
As demonic horrors invade the town, what starts as a rescue mission transforms into a full-scale battle for survival. John must face nightmarish demons, possessed townsfolk, and high school bullies turned monstrous, infiltrate the lairs of demon generals, and confront the towering fortress of Baphomet himself.
Across a single night, players will experience a retro-fueled, coming-of-age journey through action-packed encounters, eerie exploration, and heart-pounding boss fights.
