SQUARE ENIX® released OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, the latest standalone entry in the critically acclaimed OCTOPATH TRAVELER RPG series, for Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam® and Microsoft Store.
In OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, players will experience a sweeping story of restoration and retribution centered around the divine rings in an epic saga that unfolds across the realm of Orsterra. The game features returning core elements from the series and—for the first time ever—allows players to customize their own protagonist and rebuild their hometown after its destruction through the brand-new Town Build feature.
The story expands the narrative introduced in OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent, presenting new story content where players rebuild their town and encounter reinterpreted story beats. Fans can look forward to the return of the iconic HD-2D art style, a variety of Path Actions for interacting with characters, and the beloved Break and Boost battle system, which can dramatically shift the tides of combat.

The OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 consumer demo is available now across all platforms, allowing players to create a custom protagonist and play up to three hours of content. This includes the Prologue and Chapter 1 of the Master of Wealth, Master of Power, and Master of Fame story arcs. Players can also experience Chapter 1 of the Kindlers of the Flame arc, offering an early look at the Town Building feature as they begin restoring the hometown of Wishvale.
Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game once purchased.
Additionally, the Save Data Bonus Campaign rewards players who have save data or play data for relevant titles such as OCTOPATH TRAVELER, OCTOPATH TRAVELER II, BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster, DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake, or DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake.
