However, there was a brief period where I was fascinated by yandere characters, who love you to an extreme degree. After maturing, I realized neither of these types is ideal, but after playing AI2U: With You ‘Till The End, I remembered just how interesting yandere characters can be. This AI-themed escape room simulator allows you to mingle with several yandere characters. While the experience seems fun, you quickly realize that this life might not be the best path. For an early access game, AI2U offers some compelling mechanics, but there are areas that still need improvement. Should you dive into the dream of living with a yandere or face the reality that these girls might need some serious psychiatric help? Gameplay

In AI2U: With You ‘Till The End, you play as a character who finds themselves trapped in a strange atrium with an even stranger blue owl. The owl tells you about several worlds inhabited by different girls, each of whom you must interact with to escape. The gameplay primarily involves escaping these worlds while gaining the trust of each girl—or, in some cases, outwitting them.

AI2U combines the excitement of an escape room game with AI-generated elements. Unlike traditional escape room games, the worlds in this title are randomly generated, meaning that no two playthroughs are the same. You must interact with the girls in each world, gain their trust, or use sneaky tactics to progress. Each girl you encounter has a different theme, ranging from possessive girlfriends to strange witches. While the themes aren’t entirely original, the dynamic nature of the game keeps things fresh.

For example, one of the stories features a cat-girl whose apartment seems normal at first, but soon you realize something isn’t right. You must either befriend her or uncover the mystery behind her behavior to escape. The game’s replayability shines through, as different actions and responses lead to various endings, uncovering more of the story with each playthrough.

The game uses both typed and voice input to interact with the AI girls. For the most part, the AI responds well, and the girls’ dialogue can lead to interesting consequences based on your choices. However, despite the promising premise, some interactions felt a bit off. On a few occasions, the AI would respond in unexpected or illogical ways, which broke the immersion. While this is understandable in an early access title, it’s an area that needs refinement.

Graphics

Visually, AI2U: With You ‘Till The End impressed me. The environments, while simple, serve their purpose, and the character models are well-designed. The animated sequences that accompany the endings are solid, and the static images—reminiscent of high-budget visual novels—look fantastic. The game isn’t demanding on your system, but it’s clear that a lot of effort went into making the characters and their worlds visually appealing.

Sound

From a musical standpoint, the game is serviceable. The music fits the context of the game, but none of the tracks stood out as particularly memorable. The sound effects are decent, adding to the atmosphere, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, the voice acting, particularly the AI voices, detracted from the experience. The voices often felt unnatural, which pulled me out of the immersion. Although it wasn’t unbearable, the AI voices felt robotic, and I found them grating after a while. The developers may want to consider using different AI voices or, ideally, hiring real voice actresses to improve this aspect of the game.

Story

The story in AI2U: With You ‘Till The End changes depending on which girl’s world you enter. Each girl has a distinct theme, from a yandere cat-girl to other eccentric characters. The plot centers around uncovering the mysteries of these girls’ lives and why they act the way they do. The game’s structure allows you to unlock different endings, each revealing more about the character’s backstory and motivations. While not the deepest narrative, the various routes offer enough intrigue to keep you coming back for more.

Overall Impression

While the game is not without its flaws—such as inconsistent AI responses and lackluster voice acting—it’s still a fun and unique experience. The game does a great job of keeping each playthrough fresh, with random elements and multiple possible outcomes. If you’re into AI simulators and enjoy discovering how different dialogue choices impact the story, AI2U: With You ‘Till The End is worth checking out. The game shows great promise, and with some polish, it could become a standout title in the escape room genre.
