Anime distributor AnimEigo and parent company MediaOCD have announced the long-awaited Blu-ray release of Nasu: Summer in Andalusia, arriving on March 11, 2025.

From renowned animation studio MADHOUSE and acclaimed animator Kitaro Kosaka (Director of Okko’s Inn, Animation Director of Spirited Away, The Wind Rises), Nasu: Summer in Andalusia is the first anime feature film to ever compete at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. This special Blu-ray release by AnimEigo includes an exclusive retrospective interview with Kosaka, where he reflects on his legendary career, including his work at Studio Ghibli. The release is produced in partnership with Synergetic.
