MomoCon 2025 Unveils New Guests, Fighting Game Tournament Series

Introduction

MomoCon, the largest celebration of anime and gaming in the Southeast United States, has announced new guests from the D20 Avengers cast as well as its 2025 lineup of fighting game tournaments, happening at the Georgia World Congress Center from Thursday, May 22, through Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Special Guests from D20 Avengers and The Deadliest Dungeon

Popular Dungeons & Dragons role-playing group Six Sides of Gaming will grace MomoCon 2025 with its legendary D20 Avengers cast, including:

  • Mela Lee (Mortal Kombat 11, Fire Emblem, The Owl House, Vampire Knight)
  • Johnny Young (Apex Legends, World War Z, Cyberpunk 2077)
  • Justine Huxley (Lost Ark, Apex Legends, Red Dead Redemption II)
  • Nicholas Roye (Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash)
  • Damien Haas (Beyblade X, Smosh, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth)
  • The cast of The Deadliest Dungeon (Devin, Austin, Sam, and Adam)

MomoCon 2025 Fighting Game Tournament Lineup

MomoCon 2025’s tournament lineup heats up with a bevy of fighting games, including:

  • Street Fighter 6
  • TEKKEN 8
  • Rivals of Aether II
  • Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
  • Guilty Gear -Strive-

Compete in popular Nintendo titles, including:

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Splatoon 3
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  • Mario Party Superstars
  • Super Mario Party: Jamboree

Cash Prize Pools and Tournament Details

Several tournaments feature cash prize pools of up to $5,000:

  • The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate singles top 8 finishers will split a $5,000 prize pool.
  • Splatoon 3 includes a $1,000 Pot Bonus paid out to the top three teams.
  • The top 8 players in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 12-player free-for-all will be rewarded from a $2,300 Pot Bonus.
