Team17 and developer Beehive Studios have confirmed that LumenTale: Memories of Trey is coming to Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 later this year. The monster-collecting RPG originally launched on Steam and Nintendo Switch in May 2026, blending creature collecting, battling, customizing, and crafting into a story-driven adventure set in the enchanting world of Talea.

Catch ‘Em, Bond With ‘Em, Battle With ‘Em

LumenTale: Memories of Trey follows the titular hero who awakens in the world of Talea with no memories and sets out on a journey to uncover the truth about his past. Along the way, players encounter and capture Animon — magical creatures imbued with Anivis, a powerful energy that gives them the ability to affect the emotions and soul of every living being in Talea.

More than 140 Animon types are available to collect through capture or turn-based battles across PvE and PvP modes, with combat ranging from tense 1v1 duels up to 4v4 showdowns.

The Anispace

Providing a change of pace from Trey’s adventures is The Anispace — an “other realm” where players can train their collected Animon and create their ideal home by crafting and purchasing furniture from vendors. Spending more time with Animon in The Anispace strengthens the bond between Trey and his creatures, enabling them to battle with increased effectiveness.

Key Features

  • Travel an expansive world: Journey across the rich and culturally diverse world of Talea, filled with secrets, quests, and regions as unique as the Animon you encounter.
  • Collect and train Animon: Discover and capture 140 Animon, each with elemental affinities and one of five emotional attributes that can offer advantages in battle.
  • Unique art cards: Increase your chances of finding the perfect Animon — or rare Lost variants — to build the ultimate team. Trade locally or online through the Animon Trade Station.
  • Cooking and crafting: Rest at fountains throughout the world to cook food from found and purchased recipes, and craft resources to support your journey.
  • The Anispace: Train your Animon in a dedicated space away from adventure. Craft or purchase furniture from local vendors and customize it into the perfect home for your creatures.
