Free League Launches First-Ever Invincible RPG with Exclusive Rewards and Early Backer Bonuses
Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying, the upcoming tabletop roleplaying game from Free League Publishing and Skybound Entertainment, is coming to Kickstarter on September 23. Fans can sign up now to be notified when the campaign goes live.

This highly anticipated RPG is based on the groundbreaking comic book series Invincible by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, which also inspired the hit animated series streaming on Prime Video.
The Kickstarter campaign launches at 3 PM CEST / 9 AM EST / 6 AM PST, and everyone who backs a physical reward in the first 48 hours will receive an exclusive bonus cloth patch featuring the symbol of the Viltrum Empire—home of Omni-Man—at no additional cost.

The Kickstarter will offer:
- A comprehensive Core Rulebook (available in both Standard and Collector’s Editions)
- A boxed Starter Set
- Illustrations by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley
- Graphic design by Johan Nohr (MÖRK BORG)
Backers will also gain access to a completely free Quickstart PDF to get a preview of the game system right away.

If unlocked as a stretch goal, Skybound will release a limited-run print of Invincible #1, featuring a brand-new variant cover by artist Todd Nauck and colorist Matt Herms. This comic will be exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign and will never be printed again. All physical pledge backers will receive one copy if the goal is met.
Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying is designed by:
- Adam Bradford – Founder of D&D Beyond and producer for Dungeons & Dragons, Cortex Prime, and Marvel RPGs
- Tomas Härenstam – Free League co-founder and lead designer for ALIEN RPG, Blade Runner RPG, Mutant: Year Zero, and Dragonbane
More information about the game will be revealed by Free League in the coming weeks leading up to the Kickstarter launch.
