AlphaPolis Co., Ltd. has announced its North American print debut, bringing three of its most popular manga titles to English-language readers in paperback for the first time. All three series were later developed into hit anime adaptations and represent two of the genres driving North American manga demand: isekai and villainess fantasy.

Releases will arrive in waves throughout the summer and fall of 2026: Volume 1 on July 28, Volume 2 on August 11, and Volume 3 on October 13. The print launch joins existing digital editions on Kindle and the Alpha Manga app, with anime adaptations of all three series streaming internationally on Crunchyroll.

A Publishing Model Built by Readers

The three debut series, Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, and May I Ask for One Final Thing?, share a common origin. Each began as a web novel posted by an amateur creator to the AlphaPolis platform, rose through reader support into print and manga serialization, and went on to a television anime adaptation. Together, the three series have nearly 6 million copies in circulation in Japan.

AlphaPolis has built a distinctive publishing model that discovers new talent based on reader support, developing works into books, manga, and anime. The result is a catalog shaped directly by readers, with particular depth in genres outside the shonen-action mainstream.

“Since 2000, AlphaPolis has been a gateway for new talent, a place where a story posted by an unknown creator can find its readers, and when those readers champion it, go on to print, manga, and in some cases anime,” said AlphaPolis President and CEO Yusuke Kajimoto. “All three of these series came up that exact way, which is what makes AlphaPolis different, and it is the story we most want to bring to North America. Fans here have told us they don’t just want to read the series they love, they want to own them, and a well-made book is how a favorite earns its place on the shelf.”

Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time

Manga by Taro Sasakama | Original Story by Kogitsunemaru

Takumi Iruma was no hero, but he got caught up in a hero summoning spell anyway and was reborn in another world. As an apology, a goddess granted him any skill he wanted. He hoped for a humble crafting skill to live a peaceful life without battle, but the Alchemy skill he received turned out to be the most powerful in existence, capable of creating anything from a holy sword to a flying ship. With cheat-level skills acquired by chance, he builds a thriving business and proves unbeatable in combat in this comical and heartwarming isekai adventure.

The series won a Readers’ Award at the 10th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Awards. Its anime adaptation aired in January 2025, with a second season currently in production.

A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai

Manga by Tomozo | Original Story by Masuo Kinoko

Takeru Kamishiro is an average guy declared dead by a suspicious-looking god and reincarnated in the sword-and-sorcery world of Madeus. To give him a head start, he’s granted enhanced physical strength, a massive reserve of magic force, and “Search”, an ability that helps him discover valuable items and materials. With a huge adventure ahead and a cute partner by his side, this is the first volume of a popular and heartwarming fantasy series.

The anime adaptation aired its 12-episode run beginning in September 2025.

May I Ask for One Final Thing?

Manga by Sora Hoonoki | Original Story by Nana Otori

One night at a ball, Scarlet is suddenly informed by second prince Kyle that their engagement is annulled, and she’s accused of baseless crimes and denounced as a villainess by the assembled nobility. After years of putting up with the prince’s nonsense, Scarlet has had enough. And so she makes one final request: “May I send you and the rest of these pigs flying?”

The anime adaptation began airing in October 2025.
