HIDIVE Offers Otherworldly Action This Winter with New Isekai Simulcast Series “HELL MODE”
North American Premiere Screening to be Held at Anime Frontier 2025
AMC Networks’ HIDIVE announced today that the upcoming isekai action anime HELL MODE (HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing) will premiere as part of the Winter 2026 season lineup. Based on the hit light novel by Hamuo, the new anime will be offered exclusively as a simulcast series on HIDIVE. Streaming begins this January for subscribers in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Fans attending Anime Frontier 2025 in Fort Worth, TX will be the first to experience HELL MODE Episode 1 at its official North American premiere screening. To celebrate, HIDIVE also released a brand-new subtitled trailer.
About the Series
Kenichi Yamada, a 35-year-old MMORPG fanatic, craves a true gaming challenge. When he’s given a chance to play a new game featuring an impossible “Hell Mode,” he eagerly accepts. However, the moment he selects the “Summoner” class, he’s transported into the game world—reborn as a baby named Allen to a family of serfs. With only his memories and tactical skills, Allen must conquer Hell Mode, master his class, and free his family from oppression in a punishing fantasy world.
HELL MODE is based on Hamuo’s popular light novel, which debuted in November 2019 on Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Acquired by Earth Star Entertainment in 2020, the novel series spans 12 volumes and inspired a manga adaptation that launched in October 2020. English versions of both are available digitally from J-Novel Club, with the light novel’s print edition published by Yen Press.
