Evan Peters stars as the iconic mascot trapped in unfinished worlds, blending a satirical live-action meta-story with action-adventure gameplay and inventive freeform puzzle solving.

Day 4 Night Studios revealed Bradley the Badger, a new action-adventure game featuring exploration, traversal, and mind-bending freeform puzzles. The game blends original play mechanics with live-action sequences in a satirical storyline that serves as a commentary on video games themselves. Currently slated for PC via Steam, the team is also exploring additional platforms and consoles.

Bradley is brought to life by Evan Peters (X-Men, Mare of Easttown, Dahmer, TRON: Ares) through both voice-over and live-action performance, infusing the bright-eyed mascot with warmth, humor, and heart.

Once the iconic star of numerous hit platforming games, Bradley now finds himself lost in strange new lands that feel alien and eerily unfinished. Determined to return home, he embarks on a journey to save his world and his friends—no matter the cost—even if it means confronting a revelation larger than anything he has ever known.

Bradley is part love letter to video games and part satire of them,” said Christian Cantamessa, Co-Founder of Day 4 Night Studios. “Games are an art form, and this is a story inspired by our adventures making them. From the inner turmoil of self-doubt to the joy of building worlds, we wanted to transform those experiences into something anyone can get lost in.”

At the heart of the experience is The Kit, a powerful tool that allows Bradley to modify unfinished assets as if he were a game developer himself. The Kit fundamentally reshapes exploration, traversal, puzzles, and combat. Combined with his trusty frying pan, Bradley must navigate familiar worlds riddled with incomplete elements, solving puzzles, defeating bosses, and uncovering a deeper mystery along the way.

“We wanted to make something that would reignite us,” said Davide Soliani, Co-Founder of Day 4 Night Studios. “Something that takes us back to when video games felt magical, when the whole world seemed to shine. Our mechanics are designed to bridge the past and the future.”

Bradley the Badger is directed by Day 4 Night Studios founders Christian Cantamessa (Red Dead Redemption, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor) and Davide Soliani (creative lead on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sparks of Hope, and Rayman in the Phantom Show).

Founded by five industry veterans, Day 4 Night Studios is dedicated to originality and innovation, crafting experiences that push the boundaries of storytelling and game design. The studio is funded by KRAFTON, Inc. (krafton.com), with participation from Xbox co-creator Ed Fries’ 1Up Ventures (1upfund.com).
