In When Sirens Fall Silent, LKA continues its tradition of meticulously recreating real Italian locations while delivering a haunting and uncomfortable narrative unlike anything seen before in video games. The studio is known for tackling difficult subjects head-on, and this new project continues that legacy with storytelling that pushes the boundaries of artistic expression. There will be no face peeling… this is a different kind of horror.
Both The Town of Light and Martha Is Dead were critically acclaimed and award-winning titles. When Sirens Fall Silent will reveal deep ties to LKA’s previous works, strengthening writer and creative director Luca Dalcò’s reputation as a chronicler of forgotten people and experiences, continuing the Storie Senza Voce series.
Pushing Unreal Engine 5 to its limits, When Sirens Fall Silent redefines expectations with a small yet highly focused team of ten developers. This new technological foundation also enabled the creation of a fully branching, multi-layered narrative dialogue system that prioritizes verbal and emotional interaction, deep investigation, and meaningful player choice — marking a major evolution from earlier LKA games.
