SEGA Reveals Discount Paths for Fans of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have announced that the December 8th Like a Dragon & Yakuza™ 20th Anniversary releases — including Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam — will include special discount upgrade options for players who already own the original digital versions of these titles.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut introduces brand-new cutscenes, an online cooperative Red Light Raid mode, an English dub, and expanded text language support including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. The original theme song Bubble also returns, having been absent from the original Western release.

Upgrade Offer:
Players who own the digital version of Yakuza 0 for PS4, Xbox One, or Steam by December 8th at 08:29 AM PST may upgrade to the Director’s Cut for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Steam for $14.99 USD (regular price $49.99 USD).

Restrictions:
Discount applies only to PS4 → PS5, Xbox One → Xbox Series X|S, and Steam → Steam upgrades. Save data does not carry over. Offer excludes subscription services and physical versions.

Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami now features expanded text language support across major global languages. Additionally, the songs Receive You [Reborn] and Bleed return to the Western release.

Upgrade Offer:
Owners of the digital PS4 or Xbox One version by December 8th at 08:59 AM PST may upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version for only $1.99 USD (regular price $19.99 USD).

A new Steam version with updated text language support launches December 8th at 09:00 AM PST. Details for pre-existing Steam owners will be shared after release.

Restrictions:
Discount applies only to PS4 → PS5 and Xbox One → Xbox Series X|S. Save data does not carry over. Excludes subscription services and physical versions.

Yakuza Kiwami 2

Yakuza Kiwami 2 also receives expanded text language support across French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian.

Upgrade Offer:
Players who own the digital PS4 or Xbox One version by December 8th at 09:00 AM PST may upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version at no cost.

The updated Steam version launches simultaneously on December 8th at 09:00 AM PST. Pre-existing Steam owner details will be provided post-launch.
