TOHO International Partners with Midori Matcha for SPY×FAMILY Café in Little Tokyo

WHAT:

TOHO International is partnering with Midori Matcha Café for a special SPY×FAMILY pop-up café in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo from October 30–November 20, 2025. During the event, Midori Matcha will transport fans into the world of SPY×FAMILY with exclusive merchandise and limited-edition themed menu items. “As anime continues to take over mainstream pop culture, Toho is always looking for ways to lead this expansion and foster the community through authentic partnerships,” shared Kristin Parcell, General Manager of Toho International. “We’re excited to celebrate SPY×FAMILY through its debut café collaboration in the U.S. with Midori Matcha with a fun, fan-first event.” Fans will enjoy drinks and desserts inspired by the Forger family and receive one of six exclusive coasters with every SPY×FAMILY purchase over $10.

Themed Menu Includes:

  • Loid Forger’s Agent Ritual – Golden Matcha: Covert matcha capped with brown-sugar “intel” for a flawlessly smooth mission
  • Anya Forger’s Pink Sweet Bloom: Creamy vanilla and rose soft serve, bursting with sweet secrets only a telepath could taste
  • Yor Forger’s Secret Sip: In-house made strawberry purée and effervescent sparkle deliver a lethal burst of refreshment
  • Bond Forger’s Paw Harmony: A cozy blend of coconut and matcha over oat milk, calm and sweet just like Bond
“We’re honestly thrilled to be the very first café collaboration partner in the U.S. for SPY×FAMILY. Both matcha and SPY×FAMILY have deep roots in Japanese culture, and at Midori Matcha, we’re passionate about preserving and sharing traditions in a fresh way,” shared Cindy Tse, owner of Midori Matcha Café. “For this collab, we’ve created fun, limited-edition menu items that mix our love for matcha with the characters and story fans know and love — it’s our way of giving fans in the U.S. a little taste of Japan, one delicious bite (or sip!) at a time.”

Superfan platform GONKBONK and Japanese merchandise company Anique Inc. are bringing exclusive items to the pop-up café, including:
