Community Response & Concerns

The early reveal of paid DLC before the base game’s launch has drawn mixed responses from fans. Critics argue it raises questions about content allocation and consumer value, while many fans are excited by the return of Mega Evolutions and the promise of expanded narrative depth. Speculation is already running wild, suggesting as many as 14 new Mega Evolutions, including rumored additions like Flygon and more new forms beyond Raichu. Some fans, however, expressed frustration that certain Mega Evolutions will be locked behind online ranked battles.

With Pokémon Legends: Z‑A – Mega Dimension, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are signaling that the story of Lumiose is far from over. Stay tuned as more details emerge closer to and after the DLC’s release.
