Celtic Co-op Survival Brightfall Shown During the PC Gaming Showcase

The madness is spreading. Quick, grab a torch!
Dark Point Games was thrilled to feature Brightfall in the PC Gaming Showcase Most Wanted, highlighting 2026’s most anticipated upcoming PC titles. If you missed the event, you can watch the recently premiered reveal trailer below.
Brightfall is a co-op, open-world survival experience for one to four players, set on a cursed Celtic island erased from English maps. Players must explore, craft, and fight to push back a living darkness that warps the land itself. Failure means becoming part of the creeping dark and returning to camp to try again.
Dark Point Games is preparing a playtest for 2026, making now the perfect time to wishlist the game on Steam to stay updated on development and playtest invitations.
In Brightfall, light is more than a resource—it is your greatest weapon. Torches, lanterns, and bonfires push back the spreading gloom, unveiling the island’s forgotten secrets. As the light fades, the darkness grows bold and monstrous creatures emerge. Sanity slips. Allies may succumb to the corrupting influence of Dark Madness, an affliction that twists the mind and body until nothing human remains.
Up to four survivors can traverse the island together, scavenging, crafting, and defending their fragile flame. Companions—living or spectral—can drag you from danger when darkness closes in. Each expedition is a struggle against time, dwindling supplies, and an ever-encroaching threat. Successful attempts push deeper into the island, cleansing corrupted biomes and building sanctuaries that endure across resets. What starts as a lonely campfire grows into a bastion of stubborn light.
