Introduction

Flightyfelon Games and publisher Future Friends Games (SUMMERHOUSE, Gourdlets, Exo One, Europa) have announced a release date for their oddball RPG Freeride, alongside a new trailer, at today’s Games with Wings showcase.

The game will launch on PC via Steam on May 1st, with a Switch launch to follow later this year.

About the Game

Freeride is a game about YOU. Board a Fate Train to the Spirit World in this oddball RPG where you’ll make friends, use Telekinesis, find secrets, consume ice cream, and chart your own path. Each character is uniquely troubled, and in helping them find their way, you might just find yourself, too.

Welcome Aboard!

Hop aboard a Fate Train to the Spirit World, discovering wondrous landscapes and strange characters. But be warned—the future of this world may very well rest on your knobby little shoulders.

FULL STEAM AHEAD!

Use your newfound Physics-Based Telekinetic powers to do… whatever you want! Chuck fish! Play basketball! Solve puzzles! Fight demons! The choice is yours, as are the consequences.

Make New Friends (?)

Discover a colorful cast of Spirits, each with their own goals, troubles, and motivations. Help them repair broken relationships and solve their Unfinished Business. Who knows, maybe they’ll help you, too.

Branching Storylines!

The story of Freeride is shaped by your decisions, both Conscious and Unconscious. Go looking for a fight and you’ll find one. Want drama? There’s pllllllenty~ of that.

The ways you interact with the game on its most fundamental levels will be watched carefully and tallied up into a Personality Outcome. Don’t like what you got? Go back and try again.
